What's new?
The Apprenticeships (Form of Apprenticeship Agreement) Regulations 2012
are now in force. The Apprenticeship Skills Children & Learning Act 2009 required
that,to be a contract of service, an apprenticeship agreement must be in a
"prescribed form". The new Regulations confirm the details of this. The
Coalition Government has also announced that, as from August 2012, all
apprenticeship schemes receiving funding will last for at least 12 months.
(A minimum length of a year had already been imposed for 16-18 year olds in December.)
